There was once a man. He had a hen. The hen gave him an egg every day. The eggs were of gold. They were golden eggs.
The man did not say, "It is good to get a golden egg every day. "Because he was a very foolish man.
He said, "I don't want one egg every day. I want all the eggs to-day."
So the foolish man, one day, took a knife and cut the hen open. Of course that was the end of the hen, and that was the end of the golden eggs also. From that day there was no hen and there were no more golden eggs.
